Posthemiplegic Dystonia: Case Report Dystonia is a state of abnormal posture produced by slow, sustained involuntary muscle contractions which may affect a single muscle, a group of muscles of the body, resulting in characteristic postures. Such abnormalities may be seen in a variety of neurological diseases and dystonia following hemiplegia is also recognized. Although posthemiplegic dystonia is rare, it affects the patient’s quality of life. In this case report we discussed the clinical, electrophysiological and radiological features of posthemiplegic dystonia after the cerebrovascular accident during the improvement period in  two 39 and 66 years old  male patients.
