The exercise capacity of patients with McArdle disease deteriorates and functional capacity declines in time because of avoidance of exercising related with cramping and pain. We report the beneficial effects on functional capacity and quality of life induced by a supervised low intensity (3-8 of Borg scale, 5-44% intensity) aerobic exercise program of one month duration including 5 walking sessions (30-45 min/session) per week in two patients. These data reveals the positive effects of low intensity aerobic exercise in these patients, even if with short duration.
