Summary: Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is a disorder of recurrent vascular thrombosis, fetal loss and thrombocytopenia associated with elevated levels of antiphospholipid antibodies. Many patients with APS have clinical and laboratory features found in other autoimmune diseases, particularly, SLE. The syndrome may also occur in the absence of such diseases as the primary APS. In this case report a case with cerebrovascular accident due to primary APS will be duscussed.
