Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a clinical condition that is characterised by trophic, motor, autonomic disturbances and burning pain. Although trauma is the most common cause, it may develop  as a result of many etiological factors. Not all but some of the patients with past trauma or with other possible etiological factors develop CRPS. This suggests the presence of an individual predisposition. In this article we present a case of posttraumatic CRPS with the involvement of right upper and lower extremities. Our aim is to discuss the predisposition to this clinical picture primarily from the point of psychological dysfunctions
