DOI : 10.5152/tftrd.2015.08068 Kimmerle’s anomaly is an anatomical variant of atlas. In this article, we report a 28-year-old female patient of bilateral complete Kimmerle's anomaly presenting symptomatically with the signs of vertebrobasilar insufficiency. In particular, Kimmerle's anomaly should be considered in patients admitted with vertigo, headache, nausea, and facial paresthesia with neck pain with unexplained symptoms. Patients should be informed on the possibility of vertebral artery injury for cervical manipulation, surgery, and repeated traumas.
