Although there are so many therapeutic approaches in the management of spasticity resulting from upper motor neuron diseases, severe spasticity is an ongoing problem for both patients and rehabilitation strategies. We present a case wih multipl sclerosis whose spasticity was severe with an Ashworth score of 5. Oral baclofen treatment had failed in this case and Neurology, Anesthesiology, Physical Therapy and Neurosurgery disciplines decided to perform intrathecal baclofen infusion. We discussed the efficacy of intrathecal baclofen infusion for spasticity resulting from multipl sclerosis.
